That's right folks, it's snowing! Hard. And they are calling for more. I woke up this morning and it was raining, and then while I was cooking breakfast it began snowing. Its really coming down. I am listening to the ranger radio, and they are saying it is even worse everywhere else (I am at the furthest southern portion of the park). I was gonna go on a long hike, but I don't feel like getting lost due to lack of visibility, but I'm definitely going somewhere (on foot). They are starting to close some of the roads, so it must be really bad farther north. Do bears like the snow... we'll find out.

Hey buddy....I'm sure the snow is much more beautiful than in the South. Good luck today and be safe as you say the conditions may worsen....
Hi Jordy, Great pictures. Mallorie is correct you are a great photographer. How was the elk meet? Your Dad made it home safely. I checked out all his pictures on our way home. He was thrilled with the experience and was glad to be able to see where you will be for the next few months. Glad to know the ole QX is still holding up for you. I can't wait to see this fabulous place in person. I bet you thought I wouldn't be able to figure this blogging thing out. Life is full of surprises (ha ha). I can't believe it is snowing in June. Stay warm on the hikes. Take a picture of the horse you take out for your trail work, hopefully it will not be Nip. I will check the blog often so keep the news a coming. Don't forget to use the bear bell. Yes it might help you never know. Soak up the experience, it is a chance of a lifetime. Stay safe. I love you, Mom
