More Grizzlies!

I just saw two more grizzlies right across the river. I was able to eat an early dinner tonight so I went over and sat on the riverbank to look for bears. I walk down a good ways and didnt see anything, but as i was walking back something caught my I and it was that same grizzly i've been seeing (the same one thats been coming into the residential area). He was only about 300 yds away from me and i debated whether I should try and run get my camera, but i dont want to get it and come runnin back and then the bear is standin on my side. I watched it for about 4o min, and I decided I had seen enough. As I was walking bank up the bank towards the ranger station I see a dark spot moving further up the mountain and when I looked it was a monster grizzly. That other is a sub-adult bc the other one I saw was realy big. It cool how you can tell the difference between the bears bc the one I've been seeing has a blonde stripe right behind his shoulder, and this new one was alot darker with a grayish blonde face. Anyway, its time for bed.
Just want to keep you posted.

PS- Mal, bring your binoculars.

Cos,
Sorry I missed your call, tried you back once camp ended. Glad the gift is handy, may need it on those grizzlies stalking you. Keep it sharp and practice your quickdraw. I see your reputation preceded you, the blonde striped one called in for backup. Enjoy the 5 day adventure.

Jordy, just got in and headed to the blog! Thanks for the phone call today. It was great to hear your voice. Sounds like you are still enjoying the adventures and the folks you are workiing with. We have a surprise coming in the mail since you have the 5 days off. Hopefully it will help prepare you for the outing. I had dinner with Mal in Col this week to ck on her while you are away and she is still just as awesome as ever. She is studying alot and learning her speech stuff. Josh is coming into Charleston for 4th of July and your Dad and I will head down there to spend time with him and and Jacob. We will head to Wy in August after some of your other guest come and go. We hope to see Mary K and Ralph soon to see how they are doing and plan something fun with them if they are up to it. We will keep in touch through Mal. I am just about over the shingles which has been wicked but better now. We plan to have a relaxing father's day weekend at home just hanging at the house by the pool. I have a few surprises for your Dad I will share with you when I see you later. We love you!! Stay Safe!! Don't get too close to the grizzles please!! Love, Mom
